Ford Could Be Bringing FPV Falcon GT to the US

Speculation is growing that Ford Motor Company could bring the Ford Performance Vehicles Falcon GT to the US. Ford's new global strategy seems to support this, as they are trying to make their models more consistent with each other worldwide. We've already seen this strategy in action with the European Focus being brought to the US, and Ford's plan to use its C platform on many models including the new Ford C-Max. With GM looking to bring the Commodore to the US as a Chevy model, Ford will need another model to compete, and the Falcon could fit the bill. The rear-drive, V8-powered HPV Falcon GT is the fastest Australian-made car on the market and is sure to be a big hit in the United States. Let's hope Ford makes the right decision and brings the supercharged 5.0 Falcon to the states sooner than later.
